- The federal government needs to stop all of the manufacturing jobs from going overseas. That is what is killing the Midwest.

- Couldn't agree with you more. Here in Detroit unemployment is higher than the national average and no one in the state is seeing any signs of recovery. I don't think the average middle class person anywhere is feeling there is any kind of recovery underway.
Generation Y job-seekers hit hard

- I don't think this is a problem specific to Gen Y. I have not been able to find a full-time job in my field for six years and was told by one prospective boss that frankly, he would not hire anyone OVER the age of 30.
